...sponsors a 4-day Annual Retreatfor laypeople from the southeast (and way beyond), held in early fall (usually September) at Kanuga Conference Center near Hendersonville, NC. Every other year, this Retreat is combined with the SE Ministers' Conference.
...holds a 2-day Leadership Training & Networking session for Board members, ministers, and other church leadership positions from UMMAS churches, usually in mid-July.
...holds Minister Meetings of member ministers/spiritual leaders & their spouses/partners for networking, brainstorming, "heart-check" (personal support), fellowship, mentoring, and planning our events. (1st Monday in Feb, 1st Monday in May, Monday before Retreat) Minutes of meetings are available online.
...funds Grants & Scholarships for S.E.E. scholarshiphelp to people from UMMAS studying to become a Unity Licensed Teacher, financial assistance to Licensed Unity Teachers, Field Licensing Program, new building for an UMMAS ministry, and other needs that arise for active UMMAS members. ...is a non-profit corporation (with By-Laws and Officers who serve two-year terms), is supported by tithes and offerings from individuals and from member churches, and is fully able to gratefully receive tax-deductible donations from individuals and organizations. Donations to UMMAS may be given to any UMMAS member minister or mailed directly to the UMMAS Treasurer.
